Deeply inspired by Peace Pilgrim and her work, Jaganmayi collaborated with Vrishab Kakade to pay tribute to Peace in the form of a pop-up book. They expressed her teachings of Preparation, Purification and Relinquishment through fantasy environments with explanations as well as her exact words. While Vrishab engineered the pop-up mechanisms, Jaganmayi painted the artwork (mostly in oil and a few digitally). This project is completely handmade including binding and putting together the pop-up book. This was a very challenging and enjoyable project.

The magazine ‘The Light’ showcased the innovative clock created by Jaganmayi.

The clock is made of acrylic paintings on 2-inch wide wood slices. The clock begins with dawn, goes to noon, then to dusk and into the night. Only to begin again the next day. And in the middle are the eyes of Mother Kali, eternally reminding us that time only exists in the present moment.

Jaganmayi translated the book “GanaYogi Kempegowda,” by Dr. Vijayabharati from the Kannada language to English.

The book recounts the life of Kempegowda, a gifted 19th-century musician. Drawing upon historical accounts and anecdotes, it portrays Kempegowda’s  dedication to a life of musical and spiritual devotion. It details his early passion for music, miraculously overcoming caste barriers to study under renowned musician Patnam Subramanya Iyer, and the impact of personal tragedies that led him toward spiritual pursuits. Kempegowda’s life intersected with Swami Vivekananda, whose guidance led him to view music as his spiritual path.

Ultimately, the book presents Kempegowda as a model of spiritual evolution, showcasing music as a path to liberation and the transformative power of a true guru’s grace.
